very rare German first press vinyl 4LP box set released 1959 on silver ARCHIV label with catalognumber APM 4125/28. The heavy clothbound box comes complete with heavy 38-page booklet (English/French/German) and the sheet with all recording details. The box, booklet, insert and vinyl all in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect!
Highly acclaimed reference performance by Karl Richter conducting the Munich Bach Orchestra and Chorus recorded in summer 1958 at the Munich Herkules-Saal with true audiophile soundquality. Feat.
