ORION ORS 78219/321 - 3 Record Set
1978 pressings. Super Stereo Sound with dolby process
Johann Sebastian Bach - The Suites for Violincello
Iwan d'Archambeau, Cellist
Very good, rich sound; deep and resonant. These are a good playing set. I'm sure with a good proper cleaning the sound would be even better than I stated above. I used a good destatic brush and cloths, but not any more cleaning than that. I believe most of the audible imperfections are the result of dust because they get better the more I use the dust cloth - but it's never possible to get perfection that way. I believe there are only a very few actual flaws to the vinyl on these records, a few very light marks, hairline scratches (which I could hear no repeated tick-tick-tick at 33rpm through), just occasional sizzle and crackle and isolated ticks.
The sleeve shows many ex-radio station marks and is starting to split at the bottom corners but is sound inside and on the spine.
Will be shipped very well. LPs are in brand new poly-lined sleeves, will be outside the cardboard sleeve in a plastic outer sleeve. Shipped in high-quality mailer with cardboard padding on both sides. Shipped with insurance.
