Bachman-Turner Overdrive released their aptly titled second album "Bachman-Turner Overdrive II" in December 1973 on Mercury Records. It was a Top 40 hit thanks to its two seminal singles, "Takin' Care Of Business" and "Let It Ride." The band began in Winnipeg, Canada after Randy Bachman left the Guess Who and teamed with brother Robbie and Fred Turner to form BTO.

This copy of (SRM-1-696) is from the First Pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap largely attached and is in Near-Mint condition. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is easily VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Gilbert Kong at Masterdisk in NYC and this copy was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Santa Maria, Calif. The Side One dead wax is stamped SRM-1-696A-CS6 and etched 2 G.K. A2.

In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. It will ship securely in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture.

This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 48 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
