BAD RELIGION "Into The Unkown"
Rare Original LP on Epitaph Records
Released in 1983 and long Out Of PrintExcellent and often overlooked sophmore release from So Cal Punk rock kings Bad Religion, rumor has it the band personally destroyed as many copies as they could get their hands on as they were un-happy with it at the time. Sleeve is in VG condition with slight ring wear, bumped corners and edge wear. Labels are nice and glossy and vinyl has scuff marks and some surface noise audible during quite parts but overall a solid VG. This auction DOES NOT include the insert that came inside some of these records, I 've had this LP since the 80's and for whatever ever reason the one-sheet insert was not in this copy. FROM ALLMUSIC: At a time when most L.A. bands were playing extremely fast, stripped-down rock, Bad Religion released Into the Unknown, a chunk of '70s-styled hard rock that anticipated the '70s revival by about a decade. It's a bit off-putting at first blush, mainly because the tempos are slower and more deliberate, and because of the use of swirling organs and pianos. But Into the Unknown is a terrific record that was perhaps more daring than anyone realized at the time of its release. An extremely influential and interesting record, one that any fan of hard rock should enjoy..
