On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Badfinger called 'Magic Christian Music' and is a 1970 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press DARK Apple label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND HAS BEEN IN A PLASTIC SLEEVE SINCE NEW!!!! THIS LP IS ALSO HEAVILY BEATLES RELATED AS IT FEATURES TRACKS PRODUCED (AND ONE WRITTEN) BY PAUL McCARTNEY!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING EVER - WITH 1/G 1/G MOTHER & STAMPER CODES!!!! THIS IS THE 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS DARK APPLE LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS' PLAIN WHITE INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS FULLY LAMINATED NARROW SPINE COVER!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AND MASSIVELY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing from 1970 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are SACOR 12 A-1 & SAPCOR 12 B-1. The mother & stamper codes are 1/G & 1/G - the EARLIEST POSSIBLE!!!! The Cat. No is SAPCOR 12 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'DARK' Green Apple label (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Badfinger at their best!!!! Any fan of Badfinger, The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a VERY few light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY slight, MEGA low level background sound on the run on grooves and gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Patents' plain white inner sleeve!!!! This is of course the CORRECT 1st Press inner for this LP - being too late for the black inners of 1969 & too early for the Apple inners that followed in 1971. The 1st Press FULLY Laminated 'Narrow Spine' Cover is in AWESOME condition!!!! This cover was kept inside a plastic cover FROM NEW and has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), PERFECT shiny UNGLAZED laminate and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! SUPERB COVER!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AND SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
