BADFINGER - NO DICE VINYL LP GATEFOLD. US 1970 pressing . APPLE RECORDS SKA-3367. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail Signed For® 2nd Class.
This is your chance to own an original 1970s US pressing of the Badfinger No Dice vinyl LP on the Apple label, SKAO-3367.
Condition is Used.
This record has been kept in a cool dry cupboard and un-played for well over 40 years having been purchased by me in the early 70s, imported to the UK and then carried off to university and subsequent houses in a record box.
I have not played it, to check track quality, as I no longer have a respectable turntable fearing that one of today's modern USB record decks would act more like a plastic milling machine. My comments below are therefore based on a close visual inspection only. I have not cleaned the disc.
Disc:
Side 1:
The label is in reasonable condition with some impression marks from the turntable spindle around the inner ring although the hole has no rubbing wear.
The disc surface is in good visual condition apart from what looks to be a two pinhole blemishes / manufacturing defects in the vinyl in track 3 and at the end of track 2, see photograph, which might be audible. The disc has a few fine light fine scratches, which are unlikely to affect playing, some slight surface dust and a few fingerprints. The Matrix / Runout is engraved in three areas with 0, ST-1-3367-Z6 #1 and Bell Sound (small stamped) with a curly script s and sloping f, see photograph.
Side 2:
The label is in good condition with no rubbing to the central spindle hole or spindle rub marks.
The photographs hopefully give some idea of the condition of the vinyl disc.
Sleeve:
The original sleeve is in good overall condition with some creasing and slight age related discoloration.
Cover:
The cover is in excellent condition with no impression marks or writing but with a small (4mm square) yellow label in the top left corner of the front cover. The cardboard is smooth, clean and "crisp" with only minimal rubbing and wear on the bottom and top edges. The cover was "Manufactured by APPLE RECORDS. INC. 1700 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 10019 an abkco company".
Please inspect the photographs carefully.
For shipping I will place the record in plastic wrapping and pack in double stiff corrugated packaging.
