Description

One of the most sought after titles in the Palm catalog, this is "Orange Fish Tears" by Baikida E.J. Carroll. A brilliant 1974 recording engineered by Jef Gilson at Studio Palm with Oliver Lake, Nana Vasconcelos, and Manuel Villardel. Instruments include trumpet, seal horn, log drum, cowbells, small percussions, saxophones, flute, bamboo, gong, tablas, timbales, bells, acoustic & electric piano, and various percussions. Amazing album. Cover is EX while vinyl is VG+ to EX. Side one is VG+ as track one exhibits some constant low level/soft crackling during the last half or so. The occasional click is audible too on this side. Side two is much better but not perfect....the odd soft click is still audible but it plays really nice. A typical slightly noisy french pressing I think but not too terrible.
