ASTOR ALPS 1035, 1972, Australian Prog Rock
Original / first press of this hard-to-find and sought-after record!
Please see photos as they form part of the description!
The disc is on thick vinyl and shows some signs of wear, many faint hairline marks, which add a background crackle throughout many parts of the record. I have tested this copy and there is a small skip on the first track of side A, but overall, it plays much better than it looks.
Many years ago, I rescued this copy from certain doom. The front cover was stuck to another record in front, and unfortunately means the front of the cover is damaged, and the top and bottom seam have started to split. Thus, the best grade I can give the cover is Poor.
Ultimately, this is a passable / O.K. copy of an incredibly rare album, certainly a welcome addition to any collection - you will not be disappointed.
This is a regrettable sale, along with numerous other rarities that I will be putting up from my personal collection over the next few weeks.
Goldmine grading (I will always try to be conservative when giving out these grades):
COVER: P, SIDE A: G+, SIDE B: VG-/G+
