BANCHEE - Banchee LP (German Atlantic/Metronome GEMA SD 8240, 1969)
This is mega rare, original 1969 German 1st Press released in fully laminated cover on Atlantic Records (pressed by Metronome). The catalogue number and label looks like US edition, but early German Atlantic records were pressed this way (with GEMA and date of issue added on). This edition looks and sounds better than quite popular and easy to find US pressing. German Press was NOT issued with lyric insert.
This is archive, beautiful copy - rather impossible to upgrade!
Cover: EXCELLENT+ Fully laminated cover is in great shape - with just minimal mattenings in some places. You don't have to worry about ringwear on back - present on most US (matt) copies... NO creases, NO edgewears, the spine is PERFECT and opening edge is sharp. The only minor issue are just few wrinkles along the edges.
Record: MINT- Heavy vinyl is actually free of any surface marks except a very few (3-4) micro-hairlines which are unnoticable. The sound is fantastic - even slightly louder and punchier than on (usually noisy) US pressing! Perfect copy!
