1984 UK PHONOGRAM - FEED 1
FEED 1A (UTOPIA - MPO) FEED 1B (7S - MPO)
This is the original 1984 UK first press 'Band Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas' 45, but, with the labels of the 'Toy Dolls - Nellie The Elephant' factory mispressed onto both sides. Never seen or heard of another copy with these mispressed labels. This 45 has a lot of connections with many famous musicians & bands, & so may be one for the Bowie, U2, Paul McCartney completest.
Both sides grade NEAR MINT, looks barely played at all. A excellent clean glossy sheen to both sides. No nasty surface marks at all, & so no loud or repeated clicks or pops, & barely any static crackle. Appears as close to new as you will find. Both tracks play excellent throughout, although the B-Side seems to play with the tracking a little out in places, when played, the stylus has a slight side to side motion, & so occasionaly sounds a little weird, with a slowing down & then a speeding back up of the audio at times. Another factory pressing error perhaps.
The mispressd 'Toy Dolls' labels have some red biro to both sides, this where the previous owner has crossed out the band & song title, & then written 'Band Aid' in red biro. The labels are otherwise excellent & clean. The plain white paper cover also has biro, with band & song title written in red & blue.
