WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! MEGARARE and Hard-To-Find original Disques Fleche very first Stereo press released by Editorial Trompos, made, produced and distributed in Chile in 1975 by Quatro Ltda. (Quatro Records), licensed from Disques Fleche (not informed), France, catalog number QS-92, with hand etched matrix numbers QS-92-A EB-CD in Side A and QS-92-B EB-CD in Side B, with grey/black Trompos/Quatro Records labels, with solid center. It’s interesting to notice that in the deadwax of both sides it’s written the exact day of pressing, “25-11-75” (November 25th of 1975). Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!

“Chinese Kung Fu” was originally released in France in 1975 and became the song of the summer by French band Banzaï and the same year this single was released here in Chile. For some reason, the name of the band was changed for international issues, Banzai or Banzaii. As you can see, here in Chile the name was Banzaii, just like in USA. Son titles are written in Spanish only but subtitle, “Subway”, is written in English only, with credits for Subway as songwriter. If you know this single, sure you already know that in original French issue it’s informed in cover that “Dance” is by Les Clodettes, the dance group of Claude Francois, but the most important fact to notice is that in France the single was “Chinese Kung Fu” as Side A and “Rhythm Kung Fu” as Side B. So far I know the songs in this single were only released in Germany, with “Disco Version” as Side B. But here in Chile the sides are inverted!!! So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE AND UNIQUE SINGLE by French band Banzaï RELEASED ONLY IN CHILE, a record rarely seen and now auctioned here in eBay in nice condition!!! WOW!!! A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of Banzaï, French Disco of the ‘70’s and even Claude Francois!!!

This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is in nice VG- or VG condition both sides, still glossy and clean, with loads and loads and loads of scuffs, hairlines and light scratches of all sizes and in all directions, which amazingly don’t affect play at all. Labels are in great VG+ or EX- condition both sides, clear and clean, with some spindle hole wear and very small tears, with the names of some past owner written in Side A and faint age browning. The sound is in strong VG- or VG condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with constant soft crackles and some occasional light clicks and pops, more evident in the last seconds of each song, which don’t cause major distraction from the loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE AND UNIQUE CHILEAN PRESS, sure not for strict Minty minds or audiophiles, but sure a record with maybe not the best look and still clean labels and with still a great sound quality after 43 years, which won’t disappoint anyone and will satisfy any collector who know the real level of rarity of this single!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile

_________________________________________________________

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.

IMPORTANT TO READ

We are not responsible for all the taxes, duties, fees you could have to pay in your country, but I always declare the records as gift.
