Description

BARBECUE BOB

COLUMBIA 14424

V

TITLES:

It's Just Too Bad
It Just Won't Hay

Atlanta Blues master and 12 string guitarist Robert Hicks as Barbecue Bob on a decent sounding Columbia 78 from 1929.

Record has little surface shine, and a fairly dulled surface. Has many light scratches and a couple of light edge lam cracks which are inaudible. Looks V- but plays much better than it appears. Play graded at V. Easy and enjoyable to listen to.

I use standard VJM 78 RPM grading ( detailed descriptions of this grading can be found on the internet) using grades of:E+, E, E-, V+, V, V-, G+, G, G-, and P in descending order. I do not list 78's as New, or Mint, as I play my records and once played, the best grade a record can receive from me is E+. Records at V or above are better than average and quite listenable. I tend to overstate imperfections. Light scuffs and scratches are inaudible, but mentioned so the buyer will not be surprised upon receipt of records. I have never listed a P ( wall hanger) and records graded G+ or less are usually listed because of rarity.

Payment by PayPal. Buyer to pay actual postage costs from zip code 15656 plus $1.50 packaging material costs. I have safely mailed 1000's of 78's worldwide. I pack well and assure you that your records will arrive intact. Domestic shipping by Media or Priority Mail. International shipping by International First Class or Priority Mail.
