Up for auction 1 original 1996 Privately-Released 33rpm 7" single by Bardo Pond entitled "You Know(Part 1)" b/w "You Know(Part 2)". Bardo Pond Records#no catalog number given. The story goes that this was a promotional 7" given out with the purchase of a book at the Contemporary Art Gallery in Philadelphia, and therefore was only available thru the group and the gallery with the purchase of a gallery catalog/book. This is what I have heard anyway. It has no label and definitely looks like it was either financed by the band or at the very least, the gallery. I don't know for sure, but I do know that it's a great droning piece of psych that loops around to side 2 on 33 speed, so you get more bang for your buck! Not released in any other form and therefore one of the most collectible pieces of music from these Philadelphia Indie-Psych greats! Record is in VG+ condition, has a slight scratch on side one that extends thru the side, minor pops only on that side upon play-test, OTHERWISE FINE, plays well overall!
