A near impossible to find 1977 UK Acid Folk PRIVATE PRESSING.I have never seen or even heard of another copy ever being advertised for sale and it's not in the book so i have no idea of it's value.
This mega rare PRIVATE PRESS album contains some beautiful sounding Acid Folk tracks that are not dissimilar to Clive Palmer's C.O.B.(Clive's Own Band),there are some very relaxing beautifully sung songs that also sound a little like Donovan or even Peter Daltry the superb vocalist with UK psych band Kaleidoscope and Fairfield Parlour,a very clear whimsical very British sounding singing voice. There are also two spoken word POETRY tracks that do not let the overall feel of the album down at all,McGough McGear meets C.O.B. all rolled into one excellent sounding LP.
CONDITION
The record is very close to excellent as it looks very clean and shiny with just a few light marks and scuffs and it plays and sounds as such with just tiny amounts of light surface noise, the fully textured single sleeve is in very good condition with some general wear and some light staining at the opening edge front and back.the fully textured labels are excellent and very clean although side 2 has a very small blue J stamped on it.the white paper inner sleeve is in near excellent condition.
A excellent copy of this monstrously rare and obscure UK Acid Folk PRIVATE PRESS album.
Don't let the album title and sleeve put you off as this really is a great sounding album with some dreamy relaxing very English sounding Acid Folk songs.
