BARDS OF THE BARLEYCORN
WHEN GRANMA USED TO CALL
1977 UK Beet Music. BMR 101. EX. Here is musically superb extremely rare original 1977 uk tiny label acid-folk private pressing album, this LP was only pressed in minute numbers and is getting pretty much near impossible to find. This extremely rare album contains some really beautiful sounding delicate acid-folk tracks, some of which are really not that dissimilar to 'Clive Palmer's' brilliant outfit 'C.O.B. There are also two spoken word poetry tracks that do not let the overall feel of the album down at all. This excellent very rare private press acid-folk album is a superb little lost gem that not too many would have heard. With this listing i have included 11 complete MP3s, these MP3S were taken directly from the actual vinyl. The pictures are of the album for sale. Please check out my other items!

CONDITION =EX
Both sides of the vinyl have a really excellent original deep glossy sheen, there are just a few light surface marks/scuffs and a few very fine top surface hairlines on each side. Both sides play and sound close to excellent with just some occasional light background crackle and the odd light tic, in some areas these light tics repeat a few times, whatever surface noise there is can be heard on the MP3s i have provided with this listing, this album has actually be barely played, so i would guess that some of the light crackle is due to the pressing quality or grime that has gathered in the grooves, this album plays and sounds great but i guess a professional wet/dry deep vacuum clean would do this album good and clear away some of the crackles. The fully textured labels are in excellent very clean condition with no marks or wear. The thin delicate fully textured single sleeve is in excellent condition, there are just a couple of very small spots/marks front and back, the edges and spine have some light wear, but there are no seem splits or rips. Considering how thin and delicate this fully textured cover is, i would say it's in really great shape. The white paper inner sleeve is in very good condition. This is a excellent copy of this extremely rare private acid-folk gem that will not disappoint

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING TO BID
I pack my records very well with plenty of rigid card support to avoid damage. I keep all Post Office Payment Recipes as proof of postage. I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels i send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. I cannot take responsibility for any non-insured items that may be unfortunate to go missing or get damaged in the post. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind. So, if for some reason a non-insured parcel does not arrive, then i'm afraid that i cannot be held responsible for loss or damage. If you do not agree to this then please do not bid. Thank you.
