BARNEY BURCHAM
Rockabilly rarity
< Here’s a rarely seen record by Barney Burcham, one of those rarified rockabilly acts that recorded for the legendary Meteor Records in 1955. He only cut two singles, that Meteor 45 of “Can’t Steal My Way Around,” and this 1957 single for Moon Records.
On this one, he’s singing “I Fell” which has a pretty cool little guitar break in it. On the other side is “Chain Of Broken Hearts” and his new group isn’t the Daydreamers, it’s the Moon Beams. This is an original pressing of this rare 45 – and it’s in spectacular like new condition.
