A: Misery
B: Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right
[TAMLA 54043]
There are a couple of Barrett Strong 45s on Tamla that always turns up - "Money", "Whirlwind" and "Yes No, Maybe So" in particular - but that is definitely NOT the case with the mindblowingly fantastic "Misery" which is up for grabs here. This 45 didn't sell much at all when released and what a shame that was because here are two sides of superb early 60s Detroit soul. It doesn't get much better than these two moody r&b/soul tunes. "Misery" is a mid-tempo dancer and has been heavily in-demand on the r&b, northern soul and popcorn scenes for ages and here's a chance to pick up a copy of this rare disc in lovely condition. This 45 is in EX+ condition.
Click HERE to listen to SOUND CLIPS of both sides on this 45.
Don't forget to check out my other auctions this week for lots of other rare and obscure northern soul, funk, r&b, beach, modern soul and popcorn 45s!
Air-mail postage costs (for one 45):
$4 to Scandinavia
$6.50 to Europe
$8 to the rest of the world
Insured/registered shipping is available and costs $13 on top of the postage fee quoted above. I know that's very expensive, but that's the swedish postal system for you...
PLEASE NOTE! In the unlikely event that it might happen, I can not be held responsible for packages going missing unless you've asked to have them sent with insured/registered shipping.
Payment is accepted via PayPal or in cash US dollars sent well concealed in an envelope.
Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
