Description
THE BARRY GRAY ORCHESTRA - Title Theme to 'Joe 90' ORIG Pye DEMO / 7N 17625 (UK, 1968)
Here's the original UK DEMO single release of the theme to Gerry Anderson's 'Joe 90'.
Performed, of course, by the incomparable Barry Gray & His Orchestra.
One of the fondest remembered of all 1960s themes and also a splash on the northern soul dancefloors of the late 1970s.
The vinyl is in EX (Excellent) condition, a couple of light scuff lines and tiny marks between the two sides is all. Fabulous shine. Not far off a higher grade.
Labels nice. '18 OCT 1968' date stamp to the A. Round sticker on the B.
Presented with the VERY RARE original b&w pic sleeve which is in VG shape. Soft creasing, number 9 written top rear right corner, one or two edge nicks, bit of slight staining, edge rubbing and ring impression but NO splits, tears, paper loss! This is such a hard sleeve to find as a lot of the black and white Pye examples of the era are. Not many of these left now!
Plays beautifully, no issues. A great listen!
