Description
BATHORY Under the Sign of the Black Mark Flag 11
Up for grabs is a White Label/Promo/Test Press for the Seminal Death Metal LP From Bathory the Scandinavian band which summoned up the Sound forces of the Dark/Death Metal Genre , after it's Critically Acclaimed release.
This LP is , what i believe through much research is a Rush/Promo/Test Press , probably sent out for early listening review for either sound quality or for early promotional marketing. The Grading i give this album is that it is in Excellent condition , there is no cover , that's to say the actual cover that went with the Commercial release. I also believe that there were only 50 of these made ,for the said purposes, this copy has a few surface marks on the vinyl but these do not affect the sound quality , there are no jumps or issues i found when i play tested this.
This Record should come with a warning as the sounds contained herein take you on a Taxi ride through Hades and back again!
There are hardly any visible Spindle Skids which also means that this record has not been played more than a handful of times if that , This item came in a plain black sleeve. This record, in this format, is a Astro Rare item, especially considering it's impact on the founding of this particular Genre and very rarely comes up for sale , not only due to it's rarity but also for the prices they can go for. So here is your chance to own a very Desirable ,Investment Quality item ( see pics) for condition and Matrix confirmation.
So, to confirm this is the White Label/Promo copy from it's first release in 1987 on the Flag Record label . Flag 11 A1 / Flag 11 B1. Get Bidding and Get Lucky.
