From the BBC schools radio series, drama workshop presented by Derek Bowskill features poems by Ronald Duncan and radiophonic music by David Cain (colleague of John Baker and Delia Derbyshire).
Joining the radiophonic workshop in 1967 David Cain's work includes experimental music for Elliot's 'the waste land', a full score production for the radio production of 'War of the worlds', exploratory work in the use of concrete and electronic sounds as accompaniment to song and poetry in the television series 'six bites of the cherry' and music and special sound for the radio serialization of 'the hobbit'.
Sleeve - Lovely condition, a little general wear and a small pen mark on the back (see photos).
Vinyl - Library stamp on labels. Although a shiny appearance to this album there are light scuffs and marks. The worst is a scuff covering two tracks on side 1. This ends in a small but distinct scratch measuring 2mm x 2mm. This scratch does play throough ok.
Overall a decent album.
