Description
Here is a nice item for collectors of The Beatles or Dusty Springfield.
It is a BBC Transcription Service Top of the Pops show from the 1960s as introduced by Brian Matthew.
Mono recording. Show time: 42'15".
The artists featured are: The McGill Five, Mark Wynter, Brian Poole & the Tremoloes, Dusty Springfield, The Beatles. They each perform three songs, I believe specially recorded for the show.
Date and venue for the "show" unknown to me. Probably recorded in BBC studios and edited to give the impression all the artists are together in the room.
Numbering as follows: Top of the Pops - 0. (Preview Programme)- 113216/7
No cue sheet for this show unfortunately. The tracks have been written on the yellow sleeve and are as follows:-

The vinyl overall looks clean. There are a couple of light marks which can be seen in strong light on side two and some light surface noise throughout both sides, not surprising given the age of the disc.
This can only be heard between tracks however,and, in my opinion, doesn't detract from the listening experience.
One or two very light "pops" here and there.
On side two, track one there is a scratch resulting in a couple of more audible "pops".
The disc has not played for many years.
The Sleeve has a couple of bits of sticky tape on it.
You will see from feedback left by others who have dealt with me that I grade my items quite conservatively, so you can bid with confidence.
I always play the items before listing and try to assess honestly.
For your information I am not a "dealer" and this is not my business.
I am just a man with a large collection - most of which I hardly ever play.
Again from the feedback you can see that the packaging I use is always of good quality and strong.
I always ship the discs out of the "main" sleeve in their poly-lined sleeves to avoid seam splits.
