Original 1966 BBC Radio LP - extremely rare.
The record contains interviews and BBC studio recordings with The Kinks, The Zombies, The Shevelles, The Fortunes, and The Silkie.
The host is Brian Matthew, who introduces the disc as an 'All-group Show'.
The tracklist and running order is included below.
Transcription Service records were issued during the 1960's & 1970's for BBC studios. The discs were intended to be destroyed after broadcast - consequently, this may well be the only copy left in existance.
I have never seen another copy in my 30 years of collecting, and there is certainly no evidence of another copy being sold in the last decade according to Popsike.com
Do not let this copy pass you by. A must for all 1960s collectors!
Condition: Good
The disc has a good few surface marks and plays with a low level surface noise and occasional crackle throughout. However, it's still totally listenable.
Unfortunately, the cue sheet and original BBC sleeve are lost. But I have logged the running order which is included below.
The record will come in a plain cardboard 12" sleeve.
