Description
12" vinyl transcription disc for two complete shows from the early 1960's .
The shows are numbers 7 and 8 . Each show features the Ted Heath and his music, Maureen Evans, Dickie Valentine, The Zodiacs , hosted by Paul Carpenter.
Lonnie Donegan is the guest on show 7 and sings two song has a bit of chat, as well as acting in a comedy sketch. The songs are 'When I was Young' and a spirited gallop through Ray Charles' 'Leave My Woman Alone'.
Ray Ellington is guest on show 8 with a somewhat surreal review of his life and two songs not sure the title of the first second is Will You Still Be Mine
The record has some very minor surface marks but plays through with the sweetly. Labels as shown.
Transcription discs were issued in very limited quantities for distribution to BBC and client radio stations to distribute shows for broadcast.They usually have unique material and production numbers were very low,
The albums will be securely shipped in a Musicmax mailing box designed for shipment of vinyl records.
I will be listing more transcription discs over the next week or so.
