Description
I have three (3) variations of the Beach Boys' 1st "hit single" SURFIN' ---- pressed on Candix #331 and "X" #301 ... up for auction, so please look at all.
All grades are VISUAL (45s were played, but not play-graded!) Details of this offering are:
CANDIX #301
VINYL: VG+ (played completely through - no problems - on my very nice JVC turntable...the lights are 6 LED's @ 75 watts, about 4 ft overhead. Describing - on the LUAU side, there is 1 scratch from runout to edge - very light and cannot be felt w/ finger; Surfin side has only 2 or 3 tiny scratches (almost can't see them). Under a bright light 8 inches above the vinyl, several of the tiniest scratches can be seen - on both sides. This 45 grades as VG++ to me, but I'll keep it at a VG+ just to avoid the most conservative graders' complaints!
LABELS: NM- ---- "distrib. by ERA RECORD SALES INC." @ 9 o'clock on the label
SLEEVE: std. white
Vinyl is enclosed in a sealed, polyethylene clear sleeve - with a non-acid insert to help keep its shape - both from Bags Unlimited.
SHIPPING cost is $5 partially insured/media mail anywhere in the USA (tho I can insure fully for about $14 total - LMK if you want full insurance before you pay).
Returns are fine but please be sure before you buy! as you, the buyer, will pay return shipping charges (which must include full-value insurance.)
