You will never find a nicer copy of this album!


Beach Boys “Pet Sounds” LP on Capitol.  T 2458.
This is it - the absolutel holy grail of Beach Boys collectables.  A perfect sealed original stock copy of their legendary debut LP “Pet Sounds” on Capitol Records.  Original mono pressing not the fake “stereo” version that followed.  Corners are super crisp - please see photos- the whole thing looks essentially brand new.  No cut outs, no saw cuts, this is the absolutely the nicest copy of this album you will ever find.  It did not sit on a store shelf or get moved around in some warehouse over the years - it has been in the same Capitol Records box since it left the factory floor.
This album came from a former Capitol Records employee who kept it in a climate and light controlled environment for the last 40 years.  Please see photos of the box it was stored in for the last 40 years - original Capitol Records box (the box is not included for sale in this auction) with the catalog number on the front corner as shown.
