** Rare 1971 UK Stateside FIRST-PRESSING of classic BEACH BOYS vinyl LP, with RARE ORIGINAL FOLD-OUT LYRIC SHEET included. All in great condition.**
An Excellent condition disc. A few fine hairline marks where the record has been removed from the inner sleeve, which are difficult to see even under a strong light. A very small mark on Side 2 Track 1. Otherwise the surface of both sides are shiny and glossy and excellent (see photos) This record has been played very few times. No visible spindle marks. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, sticking, warps, or writing on labels. Excellent clean labels on both sides. Excellent sound quality, with very little surface noise. Tested on a Thorens turntable.
Textured sleeve in Excellent- condition, with some minor general wear to lower edge, mainly due to the flimsy nature of the sleeve design. No writing anywhere. No major creasing. No seam splits. "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd". Very little wear to spine, and all text still clearly legible.
Rare original fold-out Lyric Sheet in Excellent condition. No wear, splits, folding, creasing, writing or tears.
Supplied in plain white inner sleeve, with seam split to one side.
GRADING:
All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
