Description
BEAT INCORPORATED - Beat Inc.
[SWEDISC, SWELP 9, SWEDEN]
IMPOSSIBLY RARE swedish beat/garage LP from 1964 which features 14 self-penned tunes (most of them written by the mysterious "C. Corday", a pseudonym for Christer Berglund). This is one of the absolute rarest swedish LPs from the 1960's and was apparently only pressed in 50 copies! According to a blurb on the sleeve, this LP was supposed to come with "sheet music" to all songs on the album, but as far as I know no copy has ever surfaced with the sheet music and I doubt that it was ever included with the LP. Have a listen below! The frontman of the band, Christer Berglund, better known as Chris Corday, was quite successful as a song-writer, His songs were covered by an English group called The Scorpions (Ann-Loise, Cheated and You Treat Me Bad), The Spotnicks (Please Say Yes and I Know a Secret), The Nashmen and rather recently, Peter Berry and the Shake Set (Please Say Yes). This LP very seldom turns up for sale!
Original pressing. Laminated sleeve is VG+. Record is in EX condition.
