’The White Album’
2 LPs
Low start!.....NO Reserve!!.....NO high priced ‘Buy It Now’.
Very low numbered ‘White Album’, a four-figure 0009348.
I’m not a Beatles expert so here’s the details:
* Original 1968 UK issue on APPLE PMC 7067/8 Mono
* Matrix Nos: XEX 709-1/ XEX 710-1 / XEX 711-1 / XEX 712 - 1
* Early issue with no “An EMI Recording” on label.
* Stamper Nos: Side 1: 7 GRT / Side 2: 3 GDG / Side 3: 2 PH / Side 4: 4 PP
* This first Apple label is printed in chubby "Sans Serif" printing type. and the music publisher's name for George's and Ringo's songs is printed "Apple Publishing Ltd."
* Gatefold Sleeve with top opening. Printed & made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.
* With inner poster and one black inner sleeve. No photos.
* Record Condition: Both records are lightly scuffed. Both play OK with crackles audible, mostly in quiet parts. The music cuts through fine.
* Sleeve Condition: The Gatefold Sleeve has light wear, some to the edges, nothing too serious. There’s no rips, splits or writing.
* So although this is not a mint copy, these 4-digit ones don’t come up often. And with other 4 digit ones on eBay for £1250.00……here’s your chance to get one for less maybe!
