HEAR THE BEATLES AS THEY WERE MEANT TO BE...With its most famous red round icon on a Beatles album, "farbige Pressung ROT" DMMTM - Up for bid is a sealed copy of the THE BEATLES/1962-1966 Double album pressed using the legendary audiophile process DIRECT METAL MASTERING, better known as DMM. This is the German made RED VINYLS, 1C 172-05-307/08. In MINT condition as this copy is still sealed. Jacket in pristine condition. Rare to come by in a sealed copy.

NOTES ABOUT DMM:  With DIRECT METAL MASTERING, the groove is cut directly in copper metal. High frequency loss, distortion and pre-echo associated with conventional lacquer mastering are eliminated and transient response is greatly improved. DMM record pressing sound brighter, cleaner, more detailed, with 15% more playing time than with lacquer technology. Stampers are plated directly from the DMM Copper Master, eliminating two of the three plating steps required for lacquers. In short, DMM yields better detail resolution and lower  noise  (for vinyl, DMM sounds closer to the MASTER TAPE than any other system of cutting)
