RECORDS ARE A TRANSLUCENT RED WHEN HELD UP TO THE LIGHT EVEN THOUGH THEY APPEAR TO BE BLACK UNDER NORMAL LIGHT.

Background......
Because demand for this Double LP was so great, EMI contracted with PYE to manufacture a small limited number of additional pressings at its own UK plant. These were pressed and then sent to EMI for packaging.
The PYE contract pressings (which were produced on red translucent vinyl rather than regular black vinyl) were apparently packaged at random in EMI's own manufactured sleeves. It was therefore open to chance whether you got 1 or 2 of these limited number of PYE contract pressed LPs in the double album package. This particular package has 2 translucent PYE contract pressings!
If you were fortunate enough to get PYE pressings of both LPs in one package, you would have been extremely lucky. This is therefore one of the extremely rare packages that included 2 PYE contract LPs.
These pressings should not be confused with the limited edition 'red' vinyl versions of this LP which were produced normally by EMI.
Cover: Excellent+. Garrod & Lofthouse 1st Pressing. No writings/doodles or seam splits.
Inner sleeves: Excelent+.
Labels: Near Mint.
Vinyl: Thick heavy duty vinyl. Both discs are PYE contract pressings on translucent red vinyl. Not play tested but both records look to be in Good+ to VG(-) condition only. Played a lot in the past. This is more for the rare Beatles record collector rather than for audio delight.

Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
