After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a very rare, original DECCA contract pressing of the Beatles LP, With the Beatles.
When this album was released the demand for it was so high that EMI could not keep up. Because of this, EMI subcontracted other labels to run off a limited number of copies to help keep on top of things.
This particular pressing of With the Beatles was manufactured by Decca Records and this is easy to spot due to the prominent Decca ridge on the label.
The number of copies pressed by Decca only amounted to a very small percentage of overall copies produced and are very hard to find!

The cover is holding up okay but is definitely showing its age! The front has yellowed and has some light dirt buildup on the laminate along with some light disc impression and creasing around the edges. There are two small tears in the cover at the spine edge as you can see in the photo above. Top and bottom seams are holding okay with a couple of little laminate creases running through them, but no splitting or tearing. The spine, like the top and bottom seams, has a couple of little laminate creases running through it including one more prominent one, but hasn't split and is fully legible. The back has yellowed quite considerably with some light brown spots in places. There's some creases in the overflaps too. The yellow is a little more prominent than the photo above suggests, so bear that in mind. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : G+/VG-

The playing surface has a nice shine to it but has a fair amount of light scuffs and marks in places along with some slightly heavier looking marking. I can't really see anything heavier, though..

The labels are clean with nice, bright silver text. Both have light, moderate spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole - moreso on the side 2 label than the side 1 label. Overall, looking pretty good!

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
