Description
This is the original UK LP by The BEATLES, PLEASE PLEASE ME, MONO, 1963 on the black and Yellow PARLOPHONE label PMC 1202, with 'PARLOPHONE CO.LTD' rim credits and "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963" label credits. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- XEX 421-1N, SIDE 2:- XEX 422-1. Stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 2 / PP, SIDE 2:- 4 / OT.
The original 1963 UK E.J DAY flipback cover is in VG+++ / EX condition, the laminated front is super clean displaying all its original fresh glossy vibrant colour, their is a some area's of very lamination creasing, but in no way distracts from the overall lovely clean front, the cover would be graded a lot higher otherwise The back lovely and clean, almost snow white, with only a little yellowing to the left hand opening edge, so nice to see a cover this clean on the back!, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the spine is lovely and clean and perfectly readable. Top right hand corner on the back is a original record shop sticker, with name on address on it, nice touch and gives its some original provinace. E.J DAY covers are notorious for their fragility, and more often than not the thin flibacks are damaged or torn and the covers display heavy wear the all four corners and often their are seam splits. NOT this cover, their are no seam splits, all seams are solid, the corners, only display light nudging.
The vinyl is visually in EX+ condition, gleaming with all its original shine and lustre, I have played both sides (very carefully!) and the vinyl plays MINT !!!, YES!, **MINT**, playing with super crystal crisp clear clarity!!!!, from start to finish the freshness and brighness of the Mono sound is breathtaking!!!!. Run in and run off area's (dead wax) is silent as is inbetween tracks!. The LP starts with ' I SAW HER STANDING THERE ' , silent run in, then Paul McCartney counts in ' ONE , TWO THREE FOUR', with such clear clarity!!!, breathtaking!! and the whole of the LP plays with equal clear clarity!, THIS IS 'THE' BEST PLEASE PLEASE ME IVE EVER HEARD!!!!!!, ITS SIMPLY FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!, *** THE ULTIMATE MONO AUDIO EXPEREINECE!!, TRUELY STUNNING!, ** PERFECTION **
The label's are in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean and fresh, no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindal hole shows little or no wear!, crisp. KT tax code is embossed on side 1's label.
The vinyl is housed in its original 1963 'Use Emitex' die-cut inner sleeve and in EX+++ / MINT- condition!, beautifully clean and fresh, no unwanted writing, no rips, no seam splits.
