The Beatles - 'Beatles For Sale'. PCS 3062
The Beatles 1964 UK 1st STEREO FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Beatles For Sale' LP. Released on the 4th December 1964, it is offered here FULLY COMPLETE and in great EXCELLENT-/VERY GOOD+ condition.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
Released on the Parlophone label both sides features the ’Sold in UK….’ text, the ‘Recording First Published 1964’ text and have ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ rim print. The vinyl is housed with the original outline STEREO sleeve and original emitex inner sleeve. A very desirable demo example of this early STEREO LP.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. YEX 142–1 1 G P
Side 2. YEX 143-1 2 G H
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT- condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. I shall include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.
