Description
After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for an original UK mono 1st pressing of the Beatles' LP 'Rubber Soul!'
This particular pressing is what's known as a 'Loud Cut' pressing, identified by the matrix number endings of -1/-1. Those with a good ear have said that these initial presses have an unbalanced mix with harsher, sharper vocals (making them sound aggressive) and a muddier bass. It was soon decided to stop production so that the album could be remixed and new mother plates made up. These standard presses, with the matrix endings -4/-4, are the most common presses out there.

The cover is showing your usual light wear and tear but, overall, is holding up nicely. The front cover has a nice, rich colour to it with a little dirt buildup and ligth disc impression. There's some little laminate creases around the edges and a rounding of the corners. Top and bottom seams have a few little creases in them but are holding tight with no wear or splitting. Spine has some little creases running through it but hasn't worn or split and is fully legible. Back cover has yellowed slightly and has a couple of light stains. There's a little browning at the mouth edge and some laminate creases on the overflaps, but these are holding tight. The name Margaret Kellow has been written in small pen at the top left corner. So yeah, general light aging and wear and tear, but still holding up tightly. Inner Sleeve: VG+
The original tissue paper Emitex inner is included. It's yellowed a little and has creases in the corners, but hasn't split and is holding tightly. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : G

The playing surface is looking slightly tired and has a fair amount of light scuffing and marks. There's a slightly heavier scratch I can see on side 1 at the 2 o'clock position that runs through the first two tracks and half way into the third. It's just about feelable under the fingernail.

The labels are looking nice with bright silver text. Both have some light but moderate spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole. Looking nice!

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
