Description

PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION WELL BEFORE BIDDING!!THE BEATLES LP "Nel Film AIUTO!" (Parlophon PMCQ 31507, Mono). Rare original 1965 Italian issue with totally different cover. This issue comes in a gatefold cover, with the more familiar 'morse code' picture on the back, a large B&W picture of an ecstatic Beatles crowd on the inner spread and a stunning colour group shot on the front. This issue is on the black Parlophon label. Unfortunately, neither disc nor sleeve is in a super condition. The disc shows considerable spindle wear on the labels, while the vinyl visually is VG-. Having said that, the record plays surprisingly good, mainly because it's such a good, loud, mono pressing on thick vinyl. There are a few audible pops, but NO jumps and a surprisingly bright sound. The sleeve shows considerable wear. It has a dent in the top left corner and one on the front flap (see scan, bottom right corner). The spine is mainly intact, but worn. Generally I would grade this very conservatively as VG-, too. Description sounds awful, doesn't it?. Yet, I would say all in all this is still a very presentable copy of a very rare issue. Low starting price, no reserve. Sold as is....!
