Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

Very Rare 1965 Stereo 1st Press!
This listing is for a very rare 1965 stereo 1st press of the Beatles LP 'Help'.
In 1965 stereo was very much a luxury for the rich. Stereophonic record players were a lot more expensive than mono players and stereo records cost more than their mono counterparts. Because of this mono vastly outsold stereo and did so until around 1967/1968. Today it is very hard to find an original stereo copy of their earlier Parlophone albums.
Also, this copy features the rare MT tax code - by this time it was the KT tax code that was in full force, so to find a copy showing the incorrect, earlier tax code is very difficult!
Not only this, but this particular copy is is a very nice condition with a wonderful cover! The vast majority of original copies were played into the ground by fans and so usually copies turn up pretty worn and well-played. This copy, however, looks very decent!

Title Help! Year of Release 1965 Catalogue Number PCS 3071 Label Yellow / Black Parlophone with 'Gramophone' rimtext and 'Sold in UK' statement Tax Code on Disc MT Sleeve Manufacturer Garrod & Lofthouse Side 1 Matrix Number YEX 168-1 Side 2 Matrix Number YEX 169-1 Side 1 Stampers 4 / RH Side 2 Stampers 3 / AT Cover Condition The cover is in EX+ condition and is looking incredible for its age! There is some light damage but this is really minimal, and overall the cover is looking topnotch! The front is still wonderfully bright and white whereas usually these covers yellow with age. The laminate is thick and with a clean, sharp shine to it and no rubbing to it. There's just a little creasing around the very edges as you can see in the photos below. Top and bottom seams are both holding perfect with no splits, tears or anything. The spine is perfect bar a few tiny little creases running through it, but has no splitting or tears of any kind and is fully legible. The back is looking very clean bar just a light browning at the mouth edge. The rest looks very bright and clean with just a little creasing to the bottom left corner and some tiny creases in the overflap laminate. There's a slight yellow mark in the Emitex info circle. Check out the photos, the cover is looking awesome! Inner Sleeve Condition - Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in VG+/EX- condition. The disc has a really nice, clean shine to it and just some light, faint scuffing along with some slightly heavier looking scuffs. There's a slightly heavier looking surface scuff on side 2 at 11 o/clock that runs through tracks 2 and 3. I can't feel it under my fingernail so may just be cosmetic, but I cannot say if it affects play, however, as I don't have a record player. Overall, though, the disc is looking very nice! Label Condition The labels are in EX+ condition. The labels are spotless with no wear, tears, stickers, writing etc.There's just a light amount of very light, faint spindlewear and a touch of whitening around the centrehole on the side 2 label.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
