Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

Very Rare 1965 STEREO 1st Press!
This listing is for an original 1965 stereo 1st press copy of the Beatles LP 'Rubber Soul'.
In 1965, when this LP was released, the stereo format was still very much a novelty. As stereophonic record players still cost a lot more than mono record players, and because stereo records cost a lot more than their mono counterparts, hardly anybody ever bought the stereo copies. Because of this, mono copies are everywhere but the original stereo copies are incredibly hard to find!
This is a very nice example of this very rare, hard to find record! Most copies turn up pretty trashed but this one is looking very nice!

Band / Title The Beatles / Rubber Soul Year of Release 1965 Catalogue Number PCS 3075 Label Yellow / Black Parlophone with 'Gramo' rimtext and 'Sold in UK' statement. Tax Code on Disc KT Sleeve Manufacturer Garrod and Lofthouse Side 1 Matrix Number YEX 178-2 Side 2 Matrix Number YEX 179-2 Side 1 Stampers 2 / L Side 2 Stampers 1 / GR Cover Condition The cover is in VG+/EX- condition. The cover is holding up nicely and is looking nice and clean for its age with just some light wear and tear. The front has a lovely, rich colour to it and a wonderfully clean laminate. There's a light disc impression - mostly at the top and bottom of the cover - and some little creases down the spine edge. There's a small tear and a little sticky residue at the top right where it looks like a sticker may have been peeled off in the past. Top and bottom seams are holding perfectly. Spine is looking awesome and is uncrushed and has no splits or tears and just has a few little creases running through it. The back cover is clean but has browned a little. The overflaps are holding nice and tightly. Overall, very nice example of this original stereo cover. Inner Sleeve Condition The inner sleeve is in VG condition. The original tissue-lined Emitex inner sleeve is included. It's browned a little with some light creasing, and each seam has a small split in the middle of them. Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in EX- condition. The disc has a wonderful shine to it and looks very clean with just some light scuffing here and there. Overall, looking very nice! Really good for an album that's 52 years old! Label Condition The labels are in EX+/NM- condition. The labels look really nice with bright silver text and no writing, wear, tears, stickers etc. There's just a little, very light, faint spindlewear and a touch of whitening around the centrehole. Nice labels!
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
