The Beatles - 'A Collection Of Beatles Oldies (But Goldies !)'. PMC 7016

The Beatles 1966 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'A Collection Of Beatles Oldies (But Goldies !)' LP. Released on the 10th December 1966, and offered here in wonderful EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT condition.

These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant. Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd....' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side 2 label. The vinyl is housed within the original front laminated 'PATENTS PENDING' sleeve. A great example of this early 1966 factory sample demo pressing.

The matrix numbers are:

Side 1: XEX 619-1G 1 M

Side 2: XEX 620-1G 1 GDR

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition. Wear to one edge of the factory sample sticker.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.

The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. NO damage but creased.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.50. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £19.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
