The Beatles - 'The Beatles (The White Album)'. PMC 7067 / PMC 7068

The Beatles 1968 UK 1st MONO FACTORY SAMPLE pressing of the 'White Album' LP. Released on the 22nd November 1968 and offered here FULLY COMPLETE with two vinyls, black inner sleeves, four pictures, poster and top opening MONO sleeve.

These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.

Released on the dark UK Apple label, all four sides of the vinyl feature the 'Sold in UK ....' statement AND OMIT the ‘An EMI Recording’ text. Factory sample stickers are on sides 1 and 3. All four sides have the very earliest 1/1/1/1 matrix numbers.

This comes fully complete with the two original black die cut inner sleeves, four photographs and ‘lipstick kiss’ poster. All are housed within the top opening numbered sleeve No. 0228855. The sleeve has NO mention of stereo on the rear. A very rare opportunity to obtain a fully complete MONO factory sample issue of The Beatles White Album.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. XEX 709-1 3 TA

Side 2. XEX 710-1 3 TH

Side 3. XEX 711-1 7 GDL

Side 4. XEX 712-1 2 HL

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition.

All labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.

The inner sleeves are in VERY GOOD and VERY GOOD- condition. I shall include additional inner sleeves for protection.

The four pictures are in EXCELLENT+ condition.

The poster is in VERY GOOD++ condition.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £5.50. EU recorded postage is: £13.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £19.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
