Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

The White Album
Complete Mono 1st Press with LOW Number!
This listing is for a very rare, original copy of the Beatles double LP 'The Beatles', more commonly known as the White Album. This copy comes complete with it's original poster, four photos and black sugar paper inner sleeves.
This copy also features the extremely low number of 0018656!
The album was originally issued in November, 1968. The minimalist cover was designed by Richard Hamilton and every original issue of the record was printed with it's own, unique number. The vast, vast majority of copies of the White Album all have their numbers up in the 100,000 range (since numbered copies went up into the 500,000s, it means that over 80% of numbered copies were numbered over 100,000). To find a White Album cover number way down in the tens of thousands range is very difficult!
This is a complete, original mono set with a very low number of 0018656!!

It's holding up fine but is showing its age somewhat. The cover has yellowed a little, but noticeably (the cream album?) and has a few little marks and knocks here and there. There's a mark on the front as you can see in the photos below, and there are some small creases in the laminate. The spine is worn but hasn't split. The side and bottom seams are holding fine with no splits or tears and the inner gatefold is lovely and clean. As I say, holding nicely but showing its age. Inner Sleeve Condition The inner sleeves are in F/G condition. Both are worn and one has a split seam on the bottom. Both are a little creased and showing light wear, mostly along the fragile mouth edge. One has a tear from the label window as you can see in the photos below. Inserts Condition The photos are in VG+ condition. The photos are looking good but have some light creases and a light, faint stain here and there. John, Paul and Ringo have small tape residue marks on the top, so it looks like these photos were once taped to a wall or scrapbookThe poster is in VG condition. The poster is the original, thick paper without lamination and is holding, but the seams are looking a little fragile with a couple beginning to tear a little at the edges. The poster is clean but a little creased. Not looking too bad, overall!
Disc Condition Disc 1 is in VG- condition. The disc has a nice shine to it but a fair amount of light scuffs and marks. Nothing too serious or heavy though.Disc 2 is in VG- condition. Again, the disc has a nice shine but a fair amount of light scuffing and marking. Nothing serious that I can see but looks everso slightly rougher than disc 1. The playing surface is a little dusty and looks like it would benefit from a professional clean.
Label Condition The labels on disc 1 are in VG condition. The labels are clean but has a little rubbing and a fair amount of light spindlewear along with a little whitening around the centrehole.The labels on disc 1 are in VG condition. The labels are clean but there's some light wear and a fair amount of light spindlewear and a touch of whitening around the centrehole. There's a small sticker scar on the side 4 label that, although not damaging the label, has caused it to bubble slightly.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
