LOW NUMBER**

2 Errors

EMBOSSED BEATLES LOCATED CLOSER TO LOWER RIGHT SIDE**

Here are all the 2 song errors on the labels:

1. "Rocky Racoon", missing the second "C" in Raccoon

2. "Why Don't we do it in the road" without the question mark (?)

Some Copies have 7 errors. Error #2 without the question mark, is the rarest of all the 7

These are RARE, but If you can find others for sale, make sure error #7 is among them.

Here's very invaluable information on how The Beatles White Albums were numbered, and the meaning behind all the sequences...

The first 25 White Albums were numbered with an 'A' prefix and then a series of zeros preceding the number (e.g. A0000009). There are always seven digits following the 'A' so if it was a single digit number it would be preceded by six zeroes or if it was a two digit number it would be preceded by five zeroes. It is not known what the 'A' was indicative of (it may mean printed in America or Apple but neither is confirmed).

Numbers 26-99 were three digit numbers preceded with a zero and no prefix.

Numbers 100 through approximately 209,999 were preceded with the correct number of zeroes to make them a seven digit number

(with no letter prefix)

Beginning around 210,000 to up near 590,000, they were preceded by a zero and had an 'A' prefix.

Copies 590,000 up to about 1,380,000 remain at seven digits using a leading zero if necessary and are prefixed with a large dot.

The next batch from 1,380,000 up to some point past 2,000,000 are prefixed with an 'A' but it's a thinner 'A' than used earlier. This is one of these making it less than 30,000 from this press run

From 2,000,000 to around 2,250,000 some are prefixed with a large dot and some with the 'A'

From 2,250,000 up to 3,000,000 the numbers are prefixed with the abbreviation for number (i.e. No.)On some of these the 'o' in No. is raised with the period below it instead of beside it.

For the final numbers over 3,000,000 the numbers are prefixed with 'A'

Embossed and fairly low numbered A 1409880 Original 1968 U.S. Scranton first pressing of The Beatles 'White Album'. . Upon release of the album, John Lennon noticed these mistakes and had them corrected immediately on future pressings but not before some of these extremely rare error copies had already entered the marketplace. Very glossy VG records with some light and medium scratches which after 50+ years, you'd expect. Labels with NO writing. Poster is very nice. ALL 4 ORIGINAL portrait photos and look nice!! The outer spine is in VG condition. The inner spine also is nice.  VG cover, NO writing, NO stickers, and ring wear. NO WRITING on any of the record labels, and NO WRITING on the sleeve anywhere !!  The original factory inner sleeves are present, showing some wear which you'd expect being 50+ years old.
