"KUM BACK"
UNOFFICIAL LP
Widely considered to be one of the world’s first ever unofficial ‘bootleg’ releases and reputedly the very first by The Beatles.
The 13 stereo tracks on this LP were recorded between January and March 1969. They were originally intended to be part of the 'Get Back' project (LP, film and live performances) but the project was shelved and most of the tracks were re-recorded and eventually formed part of the 'Let it Be' album.
The tracks are taken from a rough mix acetate prepared by Glyn Johns (The Beatles Sound Engineer) on 10 March 1969 and this record was released unofficially in late 1969.

Cover: This is the de-luxe first pressing with a black & white printed front cover with rear triple flip backs. Excellent condition for its age - see photos. Later bootleg pressings of this LP came in cheap generic covers with pasted on photos or left plain white. The one of offer here is the real deal.
Labels: Excellent+. First pressing yellow labels with the 'JUST ROLLING' text. MAK 327 & 328 label numbers. S-1 & S-2 matrix numbers in the dead wax.
Record: Play tested. Looks Near Excellent and plays VG. A few lightish wispy marks under a strong light. There are no skips or jumps on my system but there is some crackle in the run-in, between tracks and in the quieter moments.
