IN MINT CONDITION
1969 original Apple Records promotional poster. These were only issued with a few Apple Label releases - most notably with early pressings of the UK 'Let it Be' Box Set.
This promo poster was used to promote Apple Records albums released in 1968/69 and includes photos of the covers/catalogue numbers for LPs by The Beatles, George Harrison, John Lennon/Yoko Ono, Mary Hopkin, James Taylor, Billy Preston, Jackie Lomax, The Plastic Ono Band & Modern Jazz Quartet.
The size is approximately 40cm x 23cm and is factory folded so that 9 LPs are featured at the top and 6 are featured at the bottom.
There are some very nice reproductions of this poster being advertised on ebay. However, if you want an original, it is quite easy to tell a genuine original from a reproduction. Original posters have the following features...
1. The paper has a more glossy finish than the reproductions.
2. The paper is much thinner than reproductions.
3. The original is approximately 3cms longer than the reproductions.
4. All of the LP covers on the original are slightly bigger than the reproductions.
5. The 'blue' and 'red' colours in the original are not as vibrant as the reproductions.
