PLEASE READ FIRST!
I'm having to make this even clearer as people are still buying records I'm grading low and as a 'collection filler', and then complain about the audio quality when they try to play them. As I VISUALLY GRADE my records I cannot guarantee that discs will be click, skip and noise free (although any marks that may cause such problems will be highlighted in the description). If you're looking for a copy to listen to then please look elsewhere.

Late '60s Press with Small Stereo Cover and Gramo Labels!
On offer here is an original late '60s issue of the classic debut Beatles LP 'Please Please Me' (a date on the back gives the year as 1969). This copy features the small Stereo format on the front of the cover and the label features the 'Gramophone' rimtext and 'Sold in UK' statement.
By the time this LP was being produced with this style of label the group were issuing Pepper and the White Album and Please Please Me was way out of the charts, only being bought as either replacements for older, trashed copies, or by new fans wanting to hear their earlier stuff. Sales were so low back in the late '60s that, today, copies are very hard to find!
A nice chance to pick up this hard to find LP!

Title Please Please Me Year of Release 1969 Catalogue Number PCS 3042 Label Black / Yellow Parlophone with Gramo rimtext and Sold in UK Statement Tax Code on Disc - Sleeve Manufacturer Garrod & Lofthouse Side 1 Matrix Number YEX 94-1 Side 2 Matrix Number YEX 95-1 Side 1 Stampers 1 / AR Side 2 Stampers 1 / AR Sleeve Condition The sleeve is in VG- condition. The sleeve is is still holding okay but has general, light wear and tear. The front has a little laminate rubbing and a fair amount of light creasing in the laminate - mostly around the edges and around the opening. Seams and the spine have creases running through them but there are no splits or tears. Back has browned a little with a little discolouration down the mouth edge. A name and year have been written in small pen at the top. Inner Sleeve Condition The sleeve is in F condition. The inner sleeve is included but has splits in the seams and has wear and tear in general. Included really to keep the LP complete. Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in VG- condition. The playing surface looks clean and has a really nice shine to it. There is a fair amount of light scuffing but there's nothing nasty or serious looking. Label Condition The labels are in VG+/EX- condition. Labels are clean and bright but look like there are a couple of little needle marks - nothing serious though. Other than that, a little spindlewear and a touch of whitening around the centrehole.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve and extra
sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable.
My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.
