The Beatles - 'Abbey Road'. PCS 7088
The Beatles 1969 UK 1st pressing of the 'Abbey Road' LP. Released on the 26th September 1969, and complete with the rare MISALIGNED APPLE COVER.
Issued on the dark 'Apple Records' label this 1st UK pressing has the rare sleeve variant with mis-aligned Apple logo on the rear cover. The Apple logo SHOULD be aligned with the track listing but due to a printing error on the initial copies the Apple was printed too far to the left and not in correct alignment with the 'Apple Records' wording. The cover also omits the final track 'Her Majesty' which appears on the later issues. Both sides of the vinyl also feature the very earliest matrix numbers for this release, ending with -2 and -1 respectively.
The matrix numbers are:
Side 1: YEX 749-2 9 MOD
Side 2: YEX 750-1 7 ARL
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition.
The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. Black inner but not the original.
