Description

The Beatles - 'Let It Be'. PCS 7096

The Beatles 1970 UK 1st pressing of the 'Let It Be' album. Released on the 8th May 1970, this is the very earliest version with RED APPLE LOGO on the rear cover and earliest possible 2U/2U matrix vinyl. To furthermore add to the desirability of this vinyl is the remarkable condition grading at EXCELLENT++/MINT- condition. This is the finest example of this rare album I have ever seen in years of collecting.

Released on the dark Apple Records label this was originally part of the rare PXS 1 limited edition box set. All elements here are in wonderful condition including the fully laminated cover, original 'Made in Great Britain' inner sleeve, vinyl and labels. Very unusually side one appears to have NO mother code and I have looked very closely. I don't recall seeing a non contract Beatles vinyl before without this code.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. YEX 773-2U (No mother code????) HO

Side 2. YEX 774-2U 3 MM

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT++/MINT- condition. Both sides of the vinyl have been play tested and sound superb. This is in simply remarkable condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition. STUNNING.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition. No damage just some very light edge wear.

The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.
