Description
This is a 1978 CAPITOL RECORDS U.S. RED VINYL STEREO LP PRESSING OF THE ORIGINAL 1978 DOUBLE LP titled 'The Beatles 1962-1966', a compilation of early period hits from The Beatles. It is Capitol Records U.S. catalog number SEBX-11842, gatefold cover, red Capitol Records U.S. labels as shown in my accompanying images, with original custom inner sleeves with song lyrics.
Limited Edition Red vinyl re-issue, Aug 1978, has custom red Capitol label (resembling the then-current purple label)
Record labels, cover spine and rear: SEBX-11842
Does NOT mention Apple Records anywhere on outside cover or label but still has "©1973 APPLE RECORDS INC" on inside gatefold.
C1 includes "James Bond" Intro from the soundtrack of the motion picture 'Help!', instead of the single version with cold intro.
Comes in gatefold sleeve.

Please e-mail me with any questions.Condition of both record is a SOLID NM; one record has no visible surface marks, the other record has a couple of very tiny lighter colored spots in the play surface which I do not believe are the result of use but are very tiny imperfections in the color of the vinyl which will have no effect on play. Condition of cover is VG+ with a little ring and contact wear and some wear along the edges and on the corners, NO splits, tears, writing, or stickers. Custom inner sleeves have splits in the middle of some of the edges which I have repaired with clear tape and some creases and wrinkles. This scarce COLORED VINYL double LP would be a nice addition to any Beatles or 1960s rock-n-roll record collection! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.
