Description
This 1967 EP and booklet is in very good condition as follows: The discs are good condition; not having been played in the last 40 or so years. The record labels are nice and clean, with no writing on them. The PRINTED BOOKLET is in very good condition: the blue lyric sheet [which is often missing from these EPs] is stapled in the middle and is in great condition.
All the pages of photos and cartoons are in good condition.
If there is any blemish it is that the paper inner sleeves are creased and the record slots are very slightly yellowed. (With thanks to a fellow e-bayer who is selling a similar record set who's words I unashamedly steal hear) This EP is identified as a '1st Press ‘Push-out Centre’: MMT-1’ as below: The first pressings have: The Silver Parlophone logo on the discs / Capitalized GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD statements printed round the edge of the label on each disc rim / A publishing statement - P [in a circle] 1967 – on the labels / and With "SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT " statements printed across the push-out centres. The BOOKLET is printed and made by: Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The Matrix No's of the discs are: (7XCE.18434; 7XCE.18435; 7XCE.18436: 7XCE.18437). The lyric sheet is on light blue paper… and NOT – printed on yellow paper [which was the colour used for later pressings] . And this has all these so is a 1st press and rare.
