Description

THE BEATLES 2nd State BUTCHER COVER "Yesterday & Today" LP IS AN ORIGINAL PRESSING ON THE CAPITOL LABEL (MONO T-2553). Up for auction is a nice, cleaner than the typical 2nd state Butcher Cover. The black V-shaped section of Ringo's shirt is clearly evident under the white background of the pasted-over cover slick. This shirt is on the right side of the cover to the right of the top portion of the luggage trunk. The cover has not attempted to be peeled. The front slick is fully intact. The front has very light ring wear and light seam wear, but no seam splitting. The image and text are still very vibrant. The back cover has an owners name written at the top in ballpoint. The cover has the number 6 printed at the bottom, back right corner. Also included is the original vinyl in VG+ condition with one hairline scratch, a few light marks and a name written in ballpoint on one label. Includes the original Capitol inner sleeve. CLEAN ENOUGH FOR FRAMING. STORED IN AN AUDIOPHILE INNER SLEEVE. SORRY NO PAYPAL, BUT WE DO ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS DIRECTLY. Winner pays $8.00 for domestic priority shipping.
