Description
- Parlophone PCS 3062 'Beatles For Sale' stereo, two EMI boxes on the labels. The original EMI inner sleeve is dated 8/77 (August 1977) with some creasing and foxing. The gatefold sleeve is in excellent shape with just a hint of ringwear. The vinyl weighs 118g, is flat and shiny and looks to have had a few spins only with a few light scuffs which I put down to storage and handling over the years in my opinion. Note the crease blemishes on the paper label for side 1 which is a manufacturing flaw and not uncommon. So let's say 8.5 /10 with regards to condition for the album.
- Parlophone PCS 7009 'Revolver' stereo, with a front laminated sleeve. Original EMI inner sleeve dated 7/77 (July 1977). The descriptions for the 125g disc, sleeve and inner sleeve are virtually identical to 'Beatles For Sale' so another 8.5 /10.
- Parlophone PCTC 255 'Magical Mystery Tour' stereo, with a very nice textured gatefold sleeve having the 24-page stapled booklet. Feels clean and fresh in the hand. The original EMI inner sleeve showing age foxing is dated 1/78 (January 1978). Yet again the vinyl at 121g is flat, shiny and by the clean paper labels looks not to have seen a turntable much if at all. Any light scuffs etc. seen under a searching bright light are in my opinion down to storage and handling over the decades. A nice copy so 8.5 /10 once more by way of condition.
